Our story began in the classic setting of high school, but with a bit of a twist. Chloe, the spirited cheerleader from Fayette, and Alex, the basketball player from New Franklin, first crossed paths not in the hallways, but online through mutual friends. (Alex thought Chloe was a bit stand-offish, and Chloe thought he was a little weird – first impressions aren't everything, right?) We spent hours chatting about basketball, cheerleading, and everything in between.

To be honest, our path to romance wasn't exactly smooth. Chloe and Alex went back and forth on really wanting to start a relationship so young, but as homecoming approached, Alex, encouraged by his friends, decided to take a chance and ask Chloe to the dance. Chloe, intrigued, agreed – but only if they went on a real date first.

February 2nd, 2020, marked our first official date. We were both a bundle of nerves, and the night was filled with laughter, awkward moments, and even a closed Chick-fil-A that forced a detour to McDonald's! But something special was definitely brewing.

From those early days, our connection grew stronger. We navigated the challenges of young love and different schools with a foundation of trust and support. We even welcomed a furry friend into the mix – Luna, the puppy who surprised both sets of parents who initially weren't on board with the idea! (Let's just say a reindeer costume was involved.)

As we pursued our dreams – Alex studying to be a doctor at Mizzou and Chloe pursuing her passion for cosmetology in Columbia – our love story continued to unfold. Chloe's entrepreneurial spirit led her to open ACE Salon and Spa in March 2023, a testament to her dedication and drive.

And then, on a sunny afternoon in August 2023, at Chloe's childhood home, Alex got down on one knee and asked her to be his forever. (He even mowed a special path for the occasion – talk about a keeper!) Surrounded by the familiar fields where she grew up, Chloe said "yes!"

Now, we're thrilled to embark on this new chapter together. We can't wait to travel the world, build a family, and create countless memories side-by-side. We can't wait to share our special day with all of you!
